The chiefs and people of Abira are calling on the general public, friends and citizens of Abira, to the final funeral rites of the late Nana Owusu Kesse (Abirahene) aged 90, who reigned from 1946 – 1996 and has since been buried.
There will be no wake-keeping
Thursday 14 February, 2013 Nananom and family members will sit at the Ahenfie and Funeral grounds to receive sympathizers Friday, 15th February 2013, from 05:am-900:pm Firing of musketry at the forecourt of Ahenfie and funeral grounds while Nananom receive sympathizers amid traditional drumming Saturday, 6th February 2013 from 12:00am-6:00pm
Final Funeral rite at the funeral grounds Sunday 17th, February 2013, from 10am Non-denominational Church Service at the Abira Ahenfie
