TRANSITION - Smart Chigabatia
The Navro-Pio, Dr. A.B. Adda; Pungu Pe; Nu Pirivura and the entire Agulam, Yikimpa, Akwenia, Ayilare and allied families of Navro Pungu; Hon. C.K. Tedam, former member of Council of State; the Asangalisa and allied families of Builsa; the Abavana, Satuh, Assorow, Bugase, Tibiru, Felli, Pwamang and allied families of Navrongo; Mr. Mark Owen Woyongo, Upper East Regional Minister and MP, Navrongo Central; Naba Alhaji Mahamadu Assibi Azonko, President of Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana(CLOGSAG ); Mr. Isaac Bampoe Addo, Executive Secretary of CLOGSAG, and the entire National Executive Council of CLOGSAG.

Announce with a deep sense of loss and sorrow, the death of their beloved: Smart Yekimpa Awupulikem Chigabatia aged 60, who died at the Korle-Bu Teaching hospital on Tuesday 6th November 2012.

Funeral arrangements:

An Afternoon to remember Chiga!: - Friday, 18th January, 2013 from 11am to 2pm at CLOGSAG Auditorium, Accra.

Pre-Burial Mass: - Thursday, 24th January 2013 at 9am at the St. Kizito Catholic Church, Nima, Accra.

Wake-Keeping: - Friday, 25th January 2013 starting at 7pm at Navro-Pungu.

Burial Mass: - Saturday, 26th January 2013 at 9am at the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Minor Basilica Parish, Navrongo.

Interment: - Family Home at Navro-Pungu, Navrongo.

Final Funeral Rites & Family Gathering: On Compound of Family Home, Navro-Pungu immediately after Burial.

Thanksgiving Mass: - Sunday, 27th January 2013 at 9am at the Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Minor Basilica Parish, Navrongo.

Widow:- Hon. Mrs. Agnes Asangalisa Chigabatia (Former MP for Builsa North and former Deputy Regional Minister, Upper East)
Children: - Christian Chigamera Chigabatia (Ghana Audit Service), Dr. Mrs. Josephine Kusano (China), Linda Katui Tampaba (Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School)
